Malinee Neelamegam is an epidemiologist and an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health, UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the National University of Malaysia, before moving to the US to complete her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology at the University of South Florida. Malinee's research focuses on understanding aging and the social determinants of health and adverse life experiences that impact aging trajectories in populations that face health disparities. Growing up as a member of the South Asian diaspora in Malaysia, Malinee has a special interest in understanding aging in the South Asian immigrant population.
