Our Mission & Vision

SAPHA envisions better health and well-being of South Asians and the communities in which they live. The mission of SAPHA is to promote the health and well-being of South Asian communities in the United States.

Our Committees

SAPHA has five working committees– Advocacy; Communications; Membership and Event Planning; Research; and Development and Sustainability– focused on various efforts to achieve SAPHA’s vision and mission. Committees meet on a monthly basis to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.

Our Work

SAPHA connects people, ideas, and resources to bring about innovative and positive change in the South Asian community. We have compiled a list of public health programs and health care organizations that serve and/or are working to advance the health of South Asians in the United States.
